About Us

At 192 Main Street in Madison, NJ, the Elks Lodge #1465 has been a fixture of local civic life long before most of the town's other gathering spots existed. Walk through the door and you'll find shuffleboard tables, a full bar, and the kind of unhurried conversation that's increasingly rare. The atmosphere members and guests describe most often is warmth, not the decorator kind, but the real kind that comes from people who actually know each other.

Every year the Lodge throws its beloved My Favorite Things holiday celebration, a signature event that has become a seasonal tradition for families across Morris County. Sally and her crew put it together with the kind of personal touch that no event venue can replicate. It's the sort of night that makes people mark the calendar twelve months in advance.

The Lodge operates under the national Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks umbrella, which means membership connects you to one of America's oldest and most active fraternal organizations, one with real charitable reach in veterans' services, youth programs, and community grants. Locally, though, it's simply the place on Main Street where Madison comes together.

What We Offer

"Loved it. Great club. Beer is always good here. I'm not a member but I was able to be a guest a few times. They have games like shuffle board. It is a very warming place in terms of atmosphere. Bartender makes great drinks. Beer is carbonated well. Plenty of parking. If you are a bar person, I recommend going here. Not too much of a young crowd, mostly older people. Great place, food, and service. I would highly recommend and go there again."

"This place was absolutely disgusting!!! We were holding a memorial service, but needed to come 3+ hours early to SCRUB their disgusting venue! I'm not some snob who would care about a little bit of dust or unswept floors. I'm talking, years of scum in the bathrooms, BUGS on the curtains, and years of dust buildup! AND, to top it all off, the staff was horribly rude! Do not waste your time or money here. We spend many valuable hours which could have been spent celebrating a life, but instead were spent cleaning, scrubbing and worrying about the broken tables the venue provided."

"Went for my SIL repass service. We had to park a half tire on grass to fit our vehicle in parking lot. He stated "is there a reason you parked like that. What is wrong with you, you cant park like everyone else." Sorry dude there we were in a spot just a little off to fit vehicles in and carry in food."
